I worked in leading positions for almost 50 years within the hospitality industry. With my wealth of experience, you will
find in me a true expert in the hospitality sector.

After graduating the Steigenberger Akademie I started my career in 1975 at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in
Frankfurt, followed by several international positions in Paris, London and the Caribeans.

I was given the chance for my first hotel opening in 1985 as Managing Director and General Manager at the age of
28.

In 1988 I returned to Steigenberger Hotel Group in to become the Area & General Manager of the Steigenberger Hotel
& Golf Resort Bad Griesbach. Three years later, I was announced Regional Director, then Area Vice President, based at
the company’s headquarters in Frankfurt.

Since 1998 I held the position as Authorized Representative (Generalbevollmächtigter Steigenberger AG) and served
as Senior Vice President and, later, as Executive Vice President. In 2004.

I reached the „C-level“ as Chief Human Resources Officer, CHRO, including the position as Managing Director of the
Steigenberger Academie.

IN 2009 followed my appointment as the Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, CDO FOR THE
Steigenberger Hotel Group (Deutsche Hospitality) In this function I built up the Business Development Department of
Steigenberger AG – Deutsche Hospitality with offices in Frankfurt, Oslo, Brussels, Cairo, Dubai and New Delhi and was
responsible for the growth strategy of the company with more than 120 signings and acquisitions including the
majority of the Scandinavian Hotel Group Zleep A.S. and creating the Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels brand.

I was further entrusted with the positions as Managing Director of the Steigenberger Consulting GmbH and of the D.H.
Deutsche Hospitality GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, which are both subsidiaries of the Steigenberger Hotels AG.

Furthermore I acted as Board Member and Managing Director of Steigenberger DMCC (Dubai), Board Member of
Aurea Palacio Hospitality Private Limited (India), Board Member and Chairmen of Steigenberger Middle East (Cairo),
and was the founding Chairman of the Joint Venture “THE GERMAN HOTEL GROUP, Beijing Ltd.,” (Beijing) a Sino-
Foreign company of Deutsche Hospitality (Steigenberger Hotels AG) that operated Steigenberger and InterCity Hotels
in China before the Acquisition of Deutsche Hospitality by the Singapore based Huazhu Group took place.

Since I officially „retired“ in June 2022, I have the pleasure to offer my valuable knowledges with working experience
on four continents within the hotel industry to various partners, such as Hotel Owners, Private Funds, International
Banks, Consultants, and Investors.
